Through these old streets I wander dreamily; Around me Florence sweeps her busy tide of life. -William Leighton
Our first time to this culturally rich and beautiful city was quick but left us wanting more. We book-ended our trip to Tuscany by staying in two luxury and unique hotels in the city of dreams. Our first stay was at Hotel Lungarno, a Salvatore Ferragamo hotel. Gorgeous, modern, and in the historic heart of the city, this 5-star hotel is the epitome of everlasting elegance. Even if we only stayed one night, we will definitely return to this hotel in the exact room. On the river with amazing views of the Ponte Vecchio.

A little exploring to fight the jet-lag and time change.
Views of the city at night just might be my favorite with the glittering lights and reflection in the river.

Our last few days in Florence (after Tuscany) were spent enjoying Italian days in the luxurious Hotel Villa Cora. Just outside of the historical center, the villa sits on the hill overlooking the beautiful Boboli Gardens. A perfect luxury oasis… still walking distance to downtown yet far enough away for idyllic relaxation. Villa Cora is the only hotel with a massive outdoor heated pool in Florence and where you could find us most afternoons. This stunning hotel is a love letter in art and architecture, with flawless service.

And spent a couple of hours learning a little bit about the city’s history while creating memories with some photos taken of us around Florence’s most iconic spots.
Firenze, sei magica
