A vacation is having nothing to do and all day to do it. -Robert Orben
CANCUN
My parents have a timeshare it the Westin in Cancun, so for our wedding they gifted us a week at their place. We decided the perfect time to go was right after the holiday chaos. Time to relax and recharge – and that’s exactly what we did. We took “relaxing vacation” very seriously… laid out by the pool all day long, with the occasional ocean dip. It was exactly what we needed to start the new year. Lots of sun, salt water, and sunsets.

CABO
Paul had some work down in Cabo, so of course we turned it into a long relaxing weekend. We stayed in the new Montage Los Cabos, which is GORGEOUS. The resort is set in a cove surrounded by rocky cliffs and saguaro, giving you that secluded resort feel. The rooms are clean and modern with an Amangiri inspired style. Our room was the perfect spot to watch the beautiful sunrises each morning.

Beautiful sunrise mornings.

Sun and pool days.

We were active too… we took the kayak out and got soooo lucky with seeing a mama and baby whale playing! I couldn’t believe how close they were and the show they put on!
